Current Grant Recipients

We are proud of our community relationship with these wonderful organizations.

Read below to see what some of our grant recipients have to say about AJF!

“As of December 31 of this school year, the Skippy Express team has seen over 720 children for medical visits and provided immunizations for more than 2,000 children! AJF’s grant has made a significant difference for the Skippy Express.”
Maureen (Missy) Wood - Executive Director, Children’s Hospital Foundation

“The support and services offered by Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation are the backbone of the organization. The grant from Austin Junior Forum helped to enable our social workers to support the families by improving their coping skills and to understand the entire cancer journey. AJF also provides volunteer services for us by hosting Family Fun Nights – babysitting for the parents and fun and relaxation for the kids. Thank you for all the support AJF has given Candlelighters.”
Becca Heatwole - Development Director, Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation

“Without support from AJF, Manos de Cristo would have to search for other sources of funds, including raising patient fees.  With AJF’s help, Manos de Cristo is breaking all sorts of records, seeing over 8,500 patient visits, increasing restorations, and decreasing extractions. Thanks again to AJF.”
Sharon Hernandez - Grant Director, Manos de Cristos

“The Children’s Advocacy Center values our long history with AJF. AJF was one of our first donors. Their first grant funded the purchase of video equipment. This equipment allows us to videotape the soft, young voices of child abuse victims. AJF funding and support has been invaluable in reaching our goal of protection and well being for Austin’s youngest victims of crime.”
Sandra A. Martin - Executive Director, Travis County Children’s Advocacy Center
